Health and Family Welfare Minister of Bangladesh Government Dr. Samant Lal Sen said, I know a lot about the health sector. My only promise after I take office is that I will bring healthcare to the doorsteps of the people, so that the marginalized people get healthcare!

He made this comment in the discussion meeting at the conference room of the district hospital after the inauguration of the newly constructed building of Narail 250-bed hospital on Saturday (April 27) afternoon.

The health minister said, if there is a good hospital and Operation Theater in Narail, then the patients will not go to Dhaka or Jashore. In big hospitals, patients cannot walk under pressure. If we can provide good treatment here, patients will not go to Dhaka. I saw two beautiful hospitals in Narail! If both the hospitals can be opened, many people will be benefitted. I will definitely work on this!

Dr. Samant Lal Sen said, if the parliamentarians of the whole country had thought of the hospital the way Mashrafe thought of it, then the health care of Bangladesh would have gone much higher. If the members of parliament go to the hospital in their respective areas and do their own check-ups, then the public's confidence will increase. If they go abroad by word of mouth, then people's trust will not come.

Also present on the occasion were Whip of National Assembly and Member of Parliament for Narail-2 Mashrafe Bin Murtaza, Director General of Health Directorate Abul Basar Mohammad Khurshid Alam, Additional Director General (Planning and Development) of Health Mirzadi Sabrina Flora, Narail Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashfaqul Haque Chowdhury, Superintendent of Police. Mohammad Mehdi Hasan, Civil Surgeon Dr. Sajeda Begum, district hospital superintendent Dr. Md. Abdul Gaffar and many others.

By the way, before this, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, the Minister of Health Dr. Samanta Lal Sen inaugurated the newly constructed building of Upazila Health Complex with 31 beds in Lohagara Upazila of the district. # edited by MS/0720 Hours/28.4.24

Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud said that although frogs are very small animals, their voices are very loud. Similarly, there are some abandoned people in politics, whose voice is as loud as a frog.

The foreign minister said these things in the speech as the chief guest at a discussion meeting of the newly elected executive committee of Red Crescent Society Chattogram district unit on Saturday (May 11) afternoon.

Dr. Hasan Mahmud said, I read a statement of Mahmudur Rahman Manna Bhai in the newspaper and heard it on television. The government has no basis at all. We have been in power four times in a row because the government has no basis. They wanted to throw it away. But while pulling, they fell down. Now he is slowly trying to stand up from his broken back. On October 28 last year, we saw the competition of who runs first in Nayapaltan.

He said, there are some other people including Mahmudur Rahman Manna Bhai, who have no base of their own party, and they go around and join the party. Manna Bhai Masha Allah has changed only seven parties so far. How long did the JSD break the BSD, again the BSD broke and now the ‘Ganatantra Manch’ It cannot be said when he broke it and ran away again. In politics, they are the outcasts. Their words have no value.

He also said that their party is small, when they hold a rally, there are 20 to 30 people, journalists are 50, they hold a rally about this. But the throat is very big, one of them stood in the Dhaka City Corporation election, the votes received can complete 2000. But the noise is too loud.

The foreign minister said that the whole world is appreciating the way the country is moving forward under the leadership of leader Sheikh Hasina. The Secretary General of the United Nations praised, the President of the United States praised, the President and Prime Minister of India praised, the German Chancellor praised, the President of the European Union praised, the whole world praised, but their allies including BNP cannot praise. Without the culture of rejection and conflict in our politics, the country could have progressed much further.

He said, after the election, heads of state and government of 80 countries congratulated our Prime Minister. The President of the United States has written a letter saying that he wants to take our relationship to new heights. This has upset the frogs of personal politics. That's why they jump more and more like frogs.

District Red Crescent General Secretary Master Aslam Khan delivered the welcome address at the Red Crescent ground in Chattogram city. Chaired by Chairperson of Chattogram Zilla Parishad and Chairman of Red Crescent District Unit, ATM Payrul Islam, Chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Professor Dr. MU Kabir Chowdhury attended the event as a guest.
