Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader commented that BNP rally means arson and bloodshed.

He made this comment after the joint meeting at the party's central office on Bangabandhu Avenue at 4 pm on Friday (May 10).

Obaidul Quader said that the BNP is once again creating chaos and terror in the country in the name of rally. Many people say that they are holding counter rallies. But today we did not have any rally. We will hold the rally, because BNP's rally means arson, chaos, bloodshed. If we leave the entire capital to BNP, there may be a problem in the safety of people's life and property. This is why we have to stay.

He said, BNP is afraid of the voters, so they do not come to the elections; they boycott the elections due to this fear.

General Secretary of Awami League said that BNP acting chairman Tareq Rahman fled to London on bail in 2007. Even today, that leader did not have the honest courage to return to the country. The leader who runs the BNP is remote leadership. If there is no leadership in the country, the movement will never succeed. If the movement fails, it also fails in the election.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has commented that two important officials of the Prime Minister's Office were fired after receiving information about the 'misdeeds' before the news was published in the media.

He said this in response to questions from journalists at a press conference at the Awami League President's political office on Wednesday (May 29) evening.

Obaidul Quader said in response to the question of the journalists whether the government would take any initiative to inquire about those who I think are civil like Benazir Ahmed, "Today the contract of two important persons of the Prime Minister's Office has been cancelled. Have you journalists reported on that? You are getting it now. .”

When asked if there are allegations of corruption against them, he said, "I don't know whether there are any allegations of corruption against them. Surely there has been some kind of deviation in their duty. I don't know what it is."

The last government needs Benazir and Aziz Ahmed. So the government is taking action against them, when asked about the allegations of BNP, he said, "Your question is not correct, they are saying that Benazir, Aziz Ahmed are the creation of Awami League. I want to know who created Ashraful Huda, Rakibul Huda, Kohinoor. I want to know. , want to answer the question of who created the fleet of corruption looting?

"Questioned, I am also asking the question, Rakibul Huda was the former IGP, he had targeted and attacked during our leader's meeting on January 24 in Chattogram. Everyone knows Ashraful Huda's corruption. Ashraful Huda created them, have they tried? Benzir was our IGP during the Awami League period."

He said, "Now it's his matter... Now it's everyone's personal matter. We can't blame an institution. When the matter came to light, the ACC is investigating. After the investigation, a case will be filed. Whoever has committed the crime, should be punished as much as the misdeed." will be

"During the period of BNP, any of their leaders, any government officials, any of the former police officers, any of them...have they been prosecuted for developing a culture of impunity? Sheikh Hasina has honest courage, that's why she has zero tolerance for corruption today whenever it is revealed. Getting... those who committed misdemeanors during the Corona period, but our leader did not forgive them. Even today, they must be punished according to the crime, there is no exemption here."

You did not think, nobody thought. Aziz Ahmed is very discreet officer. He has some degree that other army chiefs don't have. Now if he gets corruption information, he will not be exempted. That's all I can say."

Bangladesh Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon said that there is no doubt that the country has become a role model for development, but a small group of rich, military-civilian bureaucrats are now controlling the entire economy.

He said this to reporters after a meeting with 14 parties at Ganobhaban on Thursday (May 23) night.

He said, 14 parties together we have formed the movement, election and government. Until 2014, I was practically involved in everything from Bangabandhu's assassination trial. In 2018, I saw that the 14-party government became the Awami League government. Then the relevance of 14 parties is no longer with Awami League.

Menon said, our experience is that during this period, politically, when the government is under attack from America and fundamentalists, we stood by the 14-party government. Even during 1/11 when minus two formula is coming but your party is confused but we stand by you. We have said that now you say whether 14 parties are relevant or not.

The President of Workus Party said that there has been development in the country, there is no doubt that we have become a role model for development, but a small rich group, the military-civilian bureaucratic group, they are now controlling the entire economy. If we do not talk about money laundering today, then the continuity of development cannot be maintained.

He said, Bangabandhu spoke against discrimination now we have become a country with high discrimination. Now the disparity is 4.99 where earlier it was 2.2 points. If we increase another point, we will move to a country of high inequality.

Menon said, I fought against Hefazat, now it is seen that Hefazat is coming within Awami League, our education system is changing. Children are moving from primary school to madrassa.

Menon also said that 14 parties are fighting against communalism. Now Mr. Inu has come forward but the matter of Lenin has not gone from their minds.

The president of the Workers' Party said that Sheikh Hasina herself said in today's meeting that the United States wants to build a base in the Bay of Bengal. Today, they are trying to solve problems in our state and territory. They want control in Bangladesh, we do not agree with their proposal. It is not about the Prime Minister.

Menon also said that it is not possible to remain united without giving space to 14 parties. And the alliance leader Sheikh Hasina also said to strengthen the organization. Outsiders think we are with the government so our words are not accepted as such. If we want to talk about these issues from our own place, move forward then our balance of 14 parties will be visible to the people.

We have made a clear statement about the last election, in the 2018 election we were given a candidate by Awami League in Rajshahi but this time Awami League fought against the boat.

He also said that the Awami League leaders stood against Hasanul Haque Inu and arranged to defeat him, same happened in the case of Maizbhandari. If we do not take the leaders of 14 parties in these cases, then it will not be possible for us to move forward with unity. But Sheikh Hasina assured us that we were united and we want to move forward unitedly.
