Cox’s Bazar district recorded the highest rainfall this year. In the last 24 hours (from 6 am on Thursday to 9 am on Friday), the total amount of rainfall has been recorded as 401 mm, said Md Abdul Hannan, assistant meteorologist of Cox's Bazar.
He said, this is the highest rainfall recorded in one day in the current season.

On the other hand, due to the presence of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, Chattogram , Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra seaports of the country have been asked to display local warning signal No. 3.
