Trade relations between India and Bangladesh are at least strong, said Finance and Trade Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed.

He said this while talking to reporters after a meeting with Indian High Commissioner Pranay Kumar Verma at the Secretariat on Tuesday (September 10).

Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed said that no ongoing project with India has been suspended. Bangladesh is a big area of ​​investment. They (India) have shown interest in working on bigger projects including science and technology.

Indian High Commissioner Pranay Kumar Verma said that working on several big projects including science and technology was discussed. Contractors of some projects like Ashuganj and Akhaura road have gone to India but will soon return and work will start. There is also no problem with India to waive Bangladesh's debt.

He said, as before, India will advance bilateral relations with this government. However, there was no discussion about visa, he said.
