Several US officials claimed that Iran has prepared more than 100 cruise ships to attack Israel last week.

Iranian troops are moving drones and cruise missiles from one place to another. They fear that through these activities, Tehran is preparing a direct attack on Israel from Iran. US officials see indications that Iran may be preparing to attack Israel with missiles and drone strikes.
Earlier, the officials said that Iran has prepared a large number of missiles for a possible attack. These drones can be used to attack Israel. In their opinion, these weapons may be prepared to prevent the US and Israel from daring to launch an attack on Iran.
Note that Israel attacked the Iranian consulate in Syria on April 1. 13 people were killed in that attack. Several military officers lost their lives in the attack on the consulate.
