The song 'Mujhe Bhula Na Paoge' sung by Lata was played during the funeral of the 92-year-old star.

Her brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar set fire to Lata Mangeshkar's cheetah.

Earlier, prominent politicians like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray paid homage to Bharat Ratna at Shivaji Park. Along with Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Javed Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor and other celebrities from various fields were also present.

At the beginning of January, her Corona's report came positive. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on January 9. Although she survived of Corona, at the age of 92, the legend could not cope with the aftermath of Covid's next illness.

Lata was born in 1929 in Indore. Lata Mangeshkar was the eldest of five siblings. Her father, Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar, was a Marathi and Konkani musician, as well as an actor. Lata Mangeshkar was not only a singer but also an actress at the age of 13. The singer, who lost her father at that time, took the helm of the world at that age thinking of five siblings.

She recorded her first song in 1942, courtesy of a Marathi film. The following year, Lata Mangeshkar recorded the song 'Mata Ek Suput Ki Duniya Badal De Tu' for the Marathi film 'Gajavau', which was her first Hindi song. After that Lata came to Mumbai and the training of classical music started with Ustad Aman Ali Khan. Then gradually Lata Mangeshkar started hardening the ground under her feet in Bollywood. Although Lata proceeded step by step in the face of the challenge, Producer Shashadhar Mukherjee did not agree to sing with Lata in 'Shaheed', he told music director Ghulam Haider. Music director Ghulam Haider threw down the gauntlet and said that the whole of Bollywood will be up in arms to sing with this girl in the coming days. Then Lata got her first big break in Bollywood by holding his hand. Lata recorded the song 'Dil Mera Tora, Mujhe Kahin Ka Na Chhora' from Majboor (1948). In the words of the artist, 'Ghulam Haider is my Godfather'. In the beginning, many people found the impression of Nur Jahan in Lata's singing, but quickly overcame it and created her own style.

Lata was the favorite singer of music directors like Anil Biswas, SD Burman, Salil Chowdhury, many may not know that the first and last song of RD Burman's career was recorded in Lata's voice.

In the new century, Lata has withdrawn a lot from the world of music. In 2019, Lata paid homage to the Indian Army and recorded 'Teri Mitti Ki Saogandh', the last song recorded by Lata Mangeshkar.

The list of Lata Mangeshkar's famous songs is innumerable, 'Aye Mere Batan Ke Logo', 'Lag Ja Gale', 'Chalte Chalte', 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' - this list is not going to end.
